BLOG STRUCTURE
This blog is divided into three parts. The first two parts use as the main source of material the videos from Thug Notes* in which the books To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Lolita by Vladimir Nabókob are summarized and analyzed.
Once you've watched the videos, you can continue to the practice section.
You can find a list of different idioms and slang words and expressions, , and multiple exercises to practice.
You will also find a part of different regions where we explain further the slang in different places.
If you want more practice, there's also a section of other resources where you can find different sites containing exercises and authentic material.
*Thug Notes is an American educational web series that summarizes and analyzes various literary works in a comedic manner. The host of the series is Sparky Sweets, Ph.D., portrayed by actor and comedian Greg Edwards.
